Mt Richmond Specialist School will be closed for students on Thursday, 7th August & and Friday, 8th August 2025. All staff will be attending 2 Teacher Only Days as prescribed by the Ministry of Education. All staff will receive professional development on Structured Literacy for Special schools.

Enjoy the school holiday break with your loved ones! Be safe, go well. School will resume for our students on Monday 14th July 2025.

Friday, June 27th, marks the last day of the term for our students. Students will begin boarding their taxis from 1:30 PM  from the base and satellite classes. 

School Closed Friday 20th June Public Holiday – Matariki, School will resume Monday 23rd June. When the Matariki stars rise on June 20th, 2025, Aotearoa comes together to celebrate under this year’s theme—Matariki mā Puanga: Celebrating Together
